    "We had an absolutely awful experience with B&B Plumbing. 
    We asked them to fix an error with our Heat Pump Hot Water Cylinder that they said was a common issue and that they were experienced with resolving. They replaced some electrical components but the error popped up again the same day. While "fixing" the issue Tom kept trying to persuade us that we should be replacing our 8 year old unit with a whole new unit as it was "old".
    About a week later the Cylinder wouldn't power on at all. We contacted Marshall, who was very unsympathetic and once again his entire focus was to upsell us with an expensive new unit rather than remedy the situation we were in. Due to this we were left with no hot water over the weekend.

    The timing of this unit dying appeared to be very coincidental.We are out of pocket for a substandard service and "repair", we essentially paid these guys to break our cylinder.

    We ended up finding a friendly local Plumber who was able to quickly identify the fault and repair it.We don't recommend these cowboys at all. Do yourselves a favour and take your business elsewhere.

    "Good office staff on the phone. Plumber arrived in East Tamaki on time for a leaking pipe (surface mounted in basement). Needed fairly standard items to repair (pipe, elbow etc) and called another plumber from company to go to Penrose to get them. Stated that the hour it took would not be charged. Replaced short length of leaking pipe and elbow fitting. Apparently needed two plumbers as the pipe was 2.4 mtrs above floor. Fixed it in approx 30 minutes and no more leaks which is very good. Sadly, I was shocked when emailed the invoice of $875 (Labour of $650 ... no hours shown)!!

    Contacted company immediately by email with pleasant query asking for time taken and justification of labour charged but received no response at all. Three weeks later received a Statement of Account! Once again I emailed company with no response once again!!

    I recommend you do NOT use B & B Plumbing & Drainage unless you want to get shocked by very large bills AND NO RESPONSE TO QUERIES! I wonder if they will respond to this ... as all my other attempts have met a wall of silence?

    I wonder if the next thing I receive from B & B Plumbing will be a threat about debt collection if I don't pay?

    "We were having problems getting a plumber to install 2 toilets and a new cabinet in our house. We then contacted B&B and they called the next day to assess what was required and 2 days later Christoff came and installed the units perfectly with no fuss and cleaned up everything afterwards. We would highly recommend them for your plumbing needs."

    "B & B Plumbing told us the job would cost "around $200 " when they arrived on site, and then charged us $339. This was because they "forgot to include the gas certificate". Whan we asked for a compromise at around $225, they threatened debt collection. After we paid them $250, they sent us a further invoice for the balance, and stopped answering our e-mails. They have also refused to supply a gas certificate, which is a legal requirement."
