"Karen quoted to tidy my section in preparation of sale of property. Karen went over what needed doing and walked around the section pointing out what would be done. The ground had subsided below the back fence and Karen said that would not be a problem because the agapanthus around could be transplanted to hide the gaps. However once the wandering wille had been cleared the gaps looked bigger. Karen said she did not realise the gaps were so big and wanted to charge me an additional $1,500 to… lower the fence. Another area that was covered with white chip was partially covered with weed mat before covering with white chip. I noticed today there were weeds coming through the white chip 3 weeks after being laid. Karen said that is what happens and I should spray with week killer. Apparently they only partially covered the ground with weed mat as a bonus to me. The weeds came through on the area not covered with weed mat.

When they finished the job Karen said they wanted payment then. Although this had never been discussed with me. I paid just under a week after the job was finished because Karen kept hassling me.

I will never deal with Karen again although I have no issues with her workers."

"Karen's team looks after the garden for our organisation in Ponsonby and they do an excellent job. We recently asked them to deal with some old concrete planter boxes and Karen's solution looks very tidy and professional. I would happily recommend Garden Care Ltd to other businesses."

So helpful and all at a budget I could afford.
Thank you Shannon for all the hard work and for always asking me for my input and checking that I was happy with what you were doing.

"Extremely disappointing. Subcontracted the job. Did not supply appropriate tools to subcontractor (chainsaw to prune a hedge) resulting in shaggy finish to hedges. No communication regarding timing of job. Did not remove all rubbish as quoted. Left equipment on the property for another week. Called on evening of job completion (not known to us because couldn't tell) to demand 2000 cash payment that night (friday night). Told us it should cost more as underquoted but she would take cash only.… Shouted at me on the phone because I would not pay cash at short notice. Overall an extremely unpleasant experience."

"Used these guys early last year when I lived in Auckland, at that time I was ill and wasn\'t able to maintain my property, it was on the market and I really needed a good job done to the lawns and garden area. I was very happy with the result and shortly after I sold my home. I took pictures of the house after the work was done, and used it when advertising my place for sale. If I was ever to return to Auckland I will give you guys a call again, really impressed"
