    "Absolutely appalling to deal with. They don't seem to have much competition so we deal with them grudglingly . After all most people would deal with a business that had an overall approval rating of 18% from 98 customers. Our issues (1) are the Garden Bag is never collected on time and (2) we have had instances where they say they have picked up but havent . There have numerous other one off issues which have taken a lot of time to sort out because of how their customer services is set up ."

    "Auckland is terrible service and ripped me off money wise. I have finally cancelled my bin, got a credit of $15 but I reckon they should owe me $70, good luck getting any money they owe you. They double charged for 1 month, charged $15 when I skipped a bin but it should be $5, they did that twice, didn't give the credits from the year before, they tell you its in credit and all fixed up if you contact them, but it never really is because they dont stop the direct debit, I got sick of having to email or phone them due to accounts always being wrong, good riddance"

    "Ugh. What have I been waiting for to change/cancel from Greenfingers? Today is the last straw. After their website being out of commission since Friday and my multiple requests via email to skip collection this week - who showed up this morning to move an empty bin? AND if you skip a collection, they have started charging $2 for "bin hire" - excuse me but they got me for that at sign up -- or $5 if you are late to cancel. If you have another option --- take it.

    This company is Bad! Real Bad! Fair Go BAD!
    I ordered a bin 1 month ago I have emailed repeatedly, called numerous times to ask where my bin is, only be told that the bin is on the way and I should receive it within 7-10 working days. I have been charged for a prepaid collection and even been notified that my bin needs to be at the curb by 7 am on Monday. But I haven't received a bin to put out!. They are the only green waste collection service in my area, so have a monopoly and can afford to treat their customer like dirt!

    "My pain has already begun and they have not even done their first collection. Already with their lies. Already trying to charge me for an extra bag that they say the driver had collected on delivery of the Clippa bin.

    They don't provide a contact number on their website and also don't allow two way communication via email yet will happily email your invoice to you."

    "This company is utter garbage - don't waste your time signing up as they cause you headaches instead of services. Maybe that's why they're so cheap, because they're useless.

    We ordered 2 bins. One appeared in front of our house out of nowhere, and we had to contact them to know if it's theirs. Second bin was delivered afterwards and 1st collection went smoothly. After that, our second bin disappeared and again, we had to contact them to find out if they took it. They did take it, thinking that we requested it to be taken away. They then sent us back 2 bins which now meant we had 3 bins taking up space in our car port. They offered to refund us the collection fee for the 2nd bin because they didn't give us enough time to fill it before collection day. They claim they refunded but they didn't. The second collection also didn't take place because they said they had access trouble. We had to contact them to pick up the bin and left it exactly where we did (the curb) and they had no issues picking it up a week after.

    We then cancelled our subscription via email but they didn't acknowledge. Surprise surprise. We called them to make sure they cancel and they told us to fill up the bins since they already charged us anyway.

    Seriously, what kind of customer service is this? They screw up multiple times, take ages to reply to our emails and are completely unreliable. Their overall service is terrible, they have zero communication and consistency, and they don't know how to run a business properly.

    Never again.

    "Absolutely appalling business and customer service. If you don't want on going headaches giving these guys multiple chances to just get a relatively simple job done then please avoid them. Prepaying is a bad idea as they have a policy of never refunding even if they never collect the bins.
    1) We pre paid for 6 pickups - after 7 months they have achieved 4 pickups and broken several assurances that missed bins will finally be picked up
    2)They never answer their phone and recommend you email them since their online service is so good

    3)We sent 3-4 emails before finally getting a reply. Basically they make it as hard as possible to get hold of. The email we finally got was titled 'No refund policy for prepaid services'. Not that's legal from a consumer point of view but they seemed ok to fight over it while we are just happy to pay them for nothing to be rid of them.

    4) Despite trying to reach out and explain the poor service they offered that they don't do refunds but we could gift the remaining 2 pickups to a friend. Who would want to give a friend this sort of service to deal with.

    5) Despite Greenfingers not honouring all of the prepaid pickups their bin has now been sitting at our property for 3 months waiting to be taken away for good while we have happily been using a different company to which we would recommend anyone reading this to do the same

    "Try to avoid these guys. I know their pricing looks cheaper but they make up for it in other ways. Ive had a quarterly bag service with them for 9 months and am cancelling the service.
    So during that time :
    Theyve been really hard to contact by phone and their website which isnt mobile friendly,
    only ONCE picked up the bag in the 1-2 week time frame they gave,
    they dropped off an extra bag i didnt need, didnt use and part charged me for it, i paid it.
    they created 2 accounts for me and charged for 1 pick up twice. The customer service person admitted they were at fault and agreed to remove the charge, but rang me back a few days later to say their manager said i still had to pay. I paid it.

    theyve just charged me an extra $26 ( i suspect its a late fee for not booking a 3 month collection on time because i couldnt get hold of them) ill pay it and cancel.

    they cant or wont provide detailed receipts or statements. Financial transactions only.

    Noone likes feeling ripped off.

    "The second time I have used this service in a year. But NOT again! They obviously havent fixed their services.
    1. Ordered and paid for garden bag 2 weeks ago.
    2. Contacted them last week when no bag or frame received, was advised it would be at our house by the end of the weekend at the latest. NO frame or bag delivered when they said.
    3. Contacted them again. Their phone message says systems down phone again in 2 hours. Try to log into website and that is down too.
    Very poor service from this company. Would like to cancel whole order, however because we have paid in advance no guarantee money would be returned.

    "I read these reviews after I signed up. However, I was pleasantly surprised. Everything worked, from the only registration, delivery of bin and collection of first load on time. Their system was down for a while, which worried me but when I got hold of them the service was courteous and friendly. If this continuous I will be a happy long term custonmer."

    Constantly rebooking collections only to have to wait a further 7 days to actually get the bin emptied.
    Attempted to cancel and get the bin collected. This took a further 2 months and they have the check to send me a final invoice for a collection that never happened.

    "Terrible service company. I am first time and one off user and will never use them ever again. I have been trying to call them to arrange the collection since I am a one off user and the bag they have given me is filled. Their phone system said I call outside their office hours which is 9am to 5pm and I was calling at 11am. Their website login is always down, you can't login and when you manage to login and leave messages for them to collect the bin, they don't reply. If you think of using them, I advise you go somewhere else."

    "It is a regular occurrence that the collections are late. This is not a big deal, as late collections one month are balanced with late collections the next month, so the time between is as contracted, on average. However, our last collection was on December 23 (today is February 20). Since then we have been waiting for the next monthly collection. My wife tried to contact them repeatedly via phone and email. Eventually a lady phoned on 4 February and was polite and courteous. The January collection had been marked in their system as "bag empty" - it was full. In response, a credit was offered for the missed collection, and it was requested that we wait until the next collection the following week; we accepted. Since then the collection date has been shifted to 20 Feb, and then 21 Feb. Our main concern is how difficult it is to contact them and thus resolve issues, so we'll have to look for a new supplier."

    "This company is terrible they dont care about customers at all. We swapped from a bag to a bin. They took the bag two weeks early. when we eventually got someone and complained we were given another bag without a frame. I have now decided I no longer want there service and am trying to find out how much notice i have to give. I have emailed them through the "contact us" form on my account. They sent an automated reply telling me to go to my account and click on contact us. Also in the reply they said they do not monitor there email account. Good grief what company doesn't monitor their emails. To be honest i will be glad to see the back end of greenfingers and would never recommend them . They are totally incompetent"

    "The bin has been out for 11 days. Always late but not usually this late. No contact. Did not answer emails. When I finally got through to them on the phone they were uninterested and would not commit to anything. I don't understand how they are still in business. After this month (when they finally empty it) I have one month left on my six month contract and will not be renewing. "

    "We have never dealt with a more incompetent company ever. We had our bags picked up for a very long time with dogs on the property, it had never been a problem before. Then all of a sudden they would not pick up our bags while the dog are on the property. That is fine I understand why, but if you cant pick up while dogs are of the property then we need a date as to when we need to put the bags out. Green fingers refuses to help with this, how are we meant to know when to put our bags out if the window for pick up is 5 to 7 working days... but most of the time even this is delayed and they dont tell you when they are coming in the first place. Green fingers answer to this problem is to CRATE OR TIE our dog up for 5 to 7 days in 29 degree heat while we wait for their arrival! REALLY??? could not believe their solution and attitude to this problem ! I will be cancelling their service !"

    "Did not pick up my bin on the designated day, with no communication whatsoever. The bin has been on the kerb for 5 days now. My telephone query was answered by 'our driver most probably forgot to pick up your bin'. Was advised to wheel bin back on to my property. This does not sound right, as when I was on holiday in September 2019, I was penalised for not putting my bin out on the kerb. Hence, I am finding this current instruction difficult to reconcile. "

    "They add false charges to your bill. Early billing for your next pre-paid cycle meaning you pay twice for at least two collections every time. They miss collections, but argue because it's not in their driver notes, you are wrong. They blame each other. Their emails are 'noreply' emails. You have to push a hundred numbers to finally talk to someone on the phone. They are rude and talk over the top of you."

    "WARNING: DO NOT USE THIS SCAM OF A COMPANY. Parents using this company. False charges, change in charges not informed prior as required by law, rubbish excuses, outright lies. Being trying to get a refund for a pickup that never happened for almost a year. They have many websites and different operating names it seems so read all the comments here to avoid all the associated business. Seems to be nothing short of a mafia racket. Just absolutely terrible. I'm a garden/ maintenance guy I now intend to go to every place I see these guys stop in my street and offer greenwaste removal. Should be a piece of cake given how bad their service is."

We have 1 bin and two bags and every time we get the bags get collected with the bin, they seem to deduct two bin charges from our prepaid 6 even though only one bin gets emptied. As an ex logisitcs guy I can't fathom how their business works or how there accounting/ driver/ phone stafff interact, but it seems the wheels are well and truly off at Greenfingers. We've being trying to work out an overcharge for so long now that it would actually be cheaper to just pay an arborist his rate to stop by once a month to take the waste."

    This company cannot be contacted, They add fee's without reason or consultation, They are HORRIBLY Unreliable with doing the job. Infact this month they HAVEN'T Come AT ALL !!!

    I have had NOTHING BUT TROUBLE since day 1 with this company, And allthough it's been nearly a year now, I regret all the money i've given them.


    Fair Go will be involved next, This COMPANY is a SCAM !!!

    "We have been Greenfingers customers for more than 10 years and in the past year they have become so bad. We could not have collections for Feb and March due to fruit fly issues and they have offered us one free pickup and nothing off our current bill. We are constantly being charged $2 for taking the bin from the side of the house for collection when the bin was at the kerb or they gave us no notice of the pick up or the pick up never happened and they have charged us. We are now changing garden bag people or will just go to the tip as it will be cheaper and more reliable. Also they are very had to get hold of and have no customer service people to contact."

    "North Harbour Garden Bags has been sold to Greenfingers. Amazing how quickly great customer service can plummet to the depths of the most appalling level of no service.     "The concept is good - the implementation is terrible! I could write a short book on my relationship with this company, but in a nutshell, they don't answer the 'phone, they won't give out an email address or 'phone number and if you communicate via their website they just won't respond. They never collect on time, the place phantom charges on your bill, they increase the price without any notification and expect you will want to continue using their totally unreliable service. AVOID AT ALL COST!"

    "THE worst company I have ever dealt with. Dodgy- no contact phone number, blatant lies about when they are doing a collection e.g. email or text reminders never actually align with when they decide that they will pick up the bin. Cannot cancel as they don't respond to emails or phone calls yet continue to charge for the service. It's absolutely disgusting that they are still in business. "

    "The garden bin market in Auckland must be very uncompetitive, as after dealing with Greenfingers over the past few months, and reading some recent reviews, I am amazed they are still in business.

    The actual service of picking up my bin was ok, the issues I have had in past month relate to the customer service (or lack of)

    -Overcharging, charged extra for services I did not use.

    -Customer communication, they use a No Reply email service to communicate with customers They can ask questions in these emails, so to answer back to them you have to logon to their internet site, with your membership number, and post a generic communication to them..what a muck around.

    Office staff, they are probably overworked, however they dealt with request/ queries poorly and abruptly. I got the feeling that, as a customer, I was viewed by staff as an annoyance.

    "This company would have to be one of the most unprofessional and mismanaged companies I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. We have just had our fourth bin rate increase in less than two years. These people do not care about their customers at all. They make it as difficult as possible for their paying customers to get hold of them by phone even though their 0800 number is printed on their bins and statements and they will not reply to emails although they send statements via email. They hold the monopoly of the garden bag and bin business all over the Auckland area also going under the names: Counties Garden Bins, The Garden Bag Company and many others by the looks of it. Each company charges different prices and the whole company seems shady and crooked! Steer well clear of this company under all circumstances."

    "Greenfingers garden bags has to have the worst customer service of ANY business I've EVER dealt with! They DO NOT respond to email, which they push you to use. They DO NOT answer phone calls to there 0800 number. I have tried several times emailing and phoning them (waiting more than 10 minutes) and no response.     "Was having a rough time with collections at the start of the year however last two collection really really improved. Spoke with a fantastic customer service lady, and although it does seem like a long time to wait once you get through to them I have found that they are wanting to help as much as possible (those poor girls). I found that the lady I talked to was just fantastic. She helped clear up a lot of things I had read on hear also. Greenfingers is still owned by the same guy since day dot, which I wasn't sure about since all the rubbish you read on here. But honestly give these guys a go, they do care they just have shocking amount of emails and phone calls clearly. Maybe they need to hire new staff?"

    "AVOID THIS FIRM AT ALL COSTS!!! AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!! Hopeless in all respects!! Signed up for a green waste bin, paid my money and waited...and waited...and waited. Bin never showed up. Rang them to enquire and was told it was on it's way. Never arrived. Sent them a message through their website following up and never received a response. Sent another message the next day telling them I was cancelling my account, again, no response other than an email from them the next day demanding further payment for the emptying of a garden bag left by the previous occupant of our house!! This company are seriously the worst I have ever dealt with. Hopefully they go out of business so that others don't have to suffer."

    "Almost unbelievably bad service, contents of our bin strewn over the paths,(over 3m from where the bin was located) we presume because they didn’t like something we put in there, We think leaves ? Bags are usually in bad condition, very sloppy, we engaged this company because we wanted to keep our garden and paths tidy but now we’re being punished it seems.     "Never delivered the stand to go with the garden bag despite multiple requests to do so over a 6 month period. First invoice was for 6 collections, but sent me a new invoice after only doing 5 collections. Takes weeks to get a response out of them for anything, if one ever comes at all."

    "I am not sure what has happen to this business over the last few months. They are as everyone here notes almost impossible to contact via phone and I have requested to end my dealings with them via their online form and had no response. I payed for two extra collections one of which they cunningly kept moving the date on so that it overlapped with the next date by which time I had moved my bin just inside my gate and they refused to pick it up as not on the verge. SO basically I paid for two extra pick ups that never occurred. It was impossible to sort this out by any means of contact and so I have asked to end my dealings with them yet I continue to receive their emailed calendar of dates almost as if they intend to ignore this request.

    I have reported them to the Commerce commission as I am in no doubt they will continue to send me invoices.

    Be wary.

    "Really disappointed. Have been a customer of Greenfingers for many years. For the first 12+ years service was prompt with a maximum of 2 day delay. Then ownership changed around the time I noticed a big downfall in service and punctuality. Collection email arrives around 5 days earlier to remind you of collection the following Wednesday... if youre lucky the actual collection occurs the FOLLOWING week ... on a Saturday! 11 days late ..... next scheduled collection being only 16 days later. I've finally given enough chances and will be changing company (to a cheaper and more punctual.reliable company) once my current paid collections are used up. I've had enough! (And I gave plenty of chances!) It's almost like they WANT to get rid of West Auckland clients. Email cites driver injury and back-to-back public holidays as being reason for late collection .... no public holidays in the last 3 weeks yet they're still nearly 2 weeks overdue.... (and I'll be surprised if they DO collect it this Saturday) Then I'll work my butt off over the next two weekends to fill it, JUST IN CASE the next scheduled collection is on time ... UNLIKELY THO! It's been like this for 18 months now :(

    Fuming now. Further to my previous comment - today the truck came up the road. Guy looked up our path, and headed up the road to turn around. I went out to open the gate in the pouring rain (gate is only a slide-lock - not been a problem in over 12 years of being their customer - I only went out to be helpful!) Truck turns around and drives straight past the house and out of the street, Checked website - 2 minutes prior collection was noted as UNSUCCESSFUL - BAG EMTPY. Guy didnt even stop. Didnt get out of his truck. Didnt look at the bag which had been full since original scheduled collection date of 18th Apr (today is 28th). Of course - cant get hold of them until Monday. Just paid for 4 collections and they don't do refunds under any circumstances. I'm really angry and disappointed in this company. Have sent review to their website also tho they probably won't respond! Sorry - venting - but now completely over this! :(

    "Terrible experience. Only good thing they did was drop off the bag.

    No date or time given for collection. Ours was missed the first time because they came on a Sunday. Who does that? They then arranged to have it picked up again but that never happened.

    Had to have it picked up the next cycle and was charged again for the same bag.

    Absolute worst business practice run by people who don’t care.

    Will never be using this business again. Ever. And recommending others to do the same."

    "Totally agree with all the other negative feedback, swapped to this company due to poor service from a compeitior and Greenfingers offered a cheaper rate. They guaranteed collection on a specific day as we have to lock our dog up for collection inside our property, never happened! They offered me an extra bag so that I can drag my full bag to the gate and leave it there for the week it takes them to collect it, now i receive an invoice charging me an annual rate for the extra bag for my convenience!! Terrible service and constant price increases since we signed up. I'm Done!!!"

    "Not loving the bag hire charges. $2 per month for an empty bag! (I can buy a new bag for $12 at The Warehouse!) - I would of given it back to you had I of known this charge was coming rather than pay a fee of $24 for it stashed in my garage (I didn't ask for it in the first place!)     "This company is getting worse and worse. More likely to have a missed collection than a successful collection. And they are difficult to contact - don't respond to emails, very limited phone hours.
    Unrelated to their service quality, a we were part of a queue of 6 cars stuck behind their truck in a no exit street for 15 mins. The operators could have made room for cars to pass by moving 1 m forward. They were non-communicative, rude, and told us that their boss told them it was legal to park on the street blocking traffic for 15 minutes... Says a lot about the culture of this business...

    "This is a warning to anyone looking at Greenfingers. We chose Greenfingers because for 2.50 a week it seemed really good value.
    Unfortunately after being a customer for 6 months I have received only 1 successful collection. (That's $60 for 1 collection).
    Their team ride scooters around at 7 am and anyone who's bin isn't out gets written off even if the truck doesnt come until later in the day.
    That scooter rider will also make comments like "gate locked" because they're too lazy to roll your bin out, even though you pay for that service.

    This month the scooter came past (on my CCTV) and moved the bin, but the truck never arrived.

    Please please avoid this business.

    Contact is near impossible by phone, no replies to emails, two promises from some woman calling herself a manager un fullfilled. Hopeless customer service.
    Past problems of breaking a fence, attacking a dog with a trolley, missed pick ups but still being charged and and more recently, a driver who spoke not a word of english.

    "I wish I could say I saw this before joining them but I went from the worse that was sunshine bags to this one that started off excellent. Note been with them for 3 or so years now. Can honestly say that the level of quality went out the window for over a year now.start getting better and now it's just a joke.we have a dog for over 4 yrs...a friendly Labrador that the office guy ended up meeting as he had to come out due to a driver that lied and said he did the job but never did. The guy was shocked to know that they are afraid of such a loving animal.I now have to call for them to pick up and wait over 4 weeks. This happening more often and last count. System was informed and I saved numerous times the dog's name and that he will bark when somebody come but stop and great you as you can see he is happy thinking people visit him. So having a dog for over 4YRS never had issues before still same dog and now having problems more frequently and constantly have to inform yes we do have a dog is becoming a joke. Why is this not in your systems?I updated that info at my end numerous times. I told u numerous you use that as an excuse for incompetent drivers.I'm just so over it all.have to now use out my advanced payments and move on. Can not be told we will pick up bag in the week starting of x and then to safe my frustration of hoping a bag get picked up then put the dog on deck whole day to just get people showing up at inconsistent days and times. Also for a place that is open Mon to Friday and x time. Why do drivers show up at 7pm or sometimes weekend. Oh wait and love how they say they pick up and drive by looking at u and not taking bag.update your website so customers can add evidence and pictures so a correct record is kept and you can better evaluate your staff performance.if issues happen with them on weekend like did with us, we couldn't get hold of you or email and add picture to account for investigation."

    "DO NOT USE..BEWARE: Just realised they are now using business name MANUKAU GARDEN BINS. As for Greenfingers Their customer service is the worst I have EVER experienced. I had 3 bags full of garden waste which I had already paid removal for and they made every excuse not to pick it up, that was after telling me for at least 3 months that they would pick it up and never did!! We ended up paying to take it to the dump, which wasn't cheap or then it was so heavy from sitting in the rain and everything was rotting!! We made several calls to Greenfingers, they have the worst customer reps, I actually feel sorry for them, some of them felt embarrassed because they were aware of the poor service being given by the company. Worst thing is..even after all the crap service we received and our rubbish not picked up, we received a letter from them saying we owed them $18!!! WTF..After ALL they had put us thru.. Sad as."

    "They have a bad attitude to customers. By law they are supposed to let customers know when they change their terms and conditions. They do not advise and then penalize you for doing the wrong thing when you didn't know you were - due to the changes. They must be losing customers all over - surely. They waited until they had my full prepayment before getting nasty to me out of the blue. I said please pick up your bin I am cancelling your service. They informed me - no refund, so 'm stuck with them until all payment is used up. Do not do business with these people. They use to be very good."

    "This is the most awful company I've had the displeasure to deal with in a long, long time. Can't complain about the customer service - there IS none! Very quick to invoice, painfully slow to respond to emailed queries and what you get back from them are bland, impersonal and unhelpful "automated response" type replies that ignore the subject matter. They increase their rates and implement new fees without advising their customers (of which they have email addresses) at all. You just find out about the new pricing structure after you've received a new bag and have started to fill it. I've been trying to get an address off them so I can return my 2nd bag urgently so I don't have to pay the $26 "annual fee" they've just implemented because too many people are holding onto their bags. Had I known about this in advance I'd have just ordered the one. They keep sending me "pay up" emails whist ignoring my request for an address to send this ruddy bag to. I intend now to fill up the other bag fast, get them both picked up and NEVER deal with them again."

    "This is the worst company I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. Missed collections constantly. Last year only half of my collections were made and when I tried to discuss this with customer services they tell me unless I reported it within 10 days they cannot help, although they have made notes about attempting to collect and the gate being locked, which is untrue, and not let me know so that I can then report it? This year I have monitored things more closely thank goodness I am. So far they have managed 1 collection out of 4. I was told they would take the cost of one of the missed collections off my invoice but surprise, surprise they have not only not done this they have added a further charge for casual rental of second bag. Thankfully I don't have a direct debit with them. I would recommend anyone already with them to closely monitor their collections and only pay for ones that actually happen, the invoices and bills sent via email are numerous response to telephone calls and replies from customer services virtually non existent. If you are thinking of using this service - DONT-"

    "Absolutely HORRIBLE to deal with, they bought out the awesome company I used and when I told them I wanted to cancel they sent me a bill for $85, for 2 months! I have been trying to get this account sorted for 3 months and today I was sent a threatening email stating they will be debiting my account and any "missed direct debit payments" will cause a charge of $20, they have the wrong back details and absolutely no right to debit my account anyway, I have signed nothing with them and NEVER would! The only communication I can get out of them is completely incorrect, rip off statements! (that is the very short version of the story, it gets even better!)"

    "I been with this company 2 years. On 21st Feb. Is my collection day. When I got home by 3:30pm. My bin was on the road instead on the foot path, which will causes the problem when some drivers crash on it. Then I found out my bin still have a quarter full. I called the office, but the office hour till 3pm only. So, I go online and check my collect detail, it said done which is moniter by GPS. I wrote them an email regarding what happen, and said please call me tomorrow to discuss. Well, no one contact me, so I quickly called before 3pm and talked to a customer service. That lady was apologize and tell me they will send the driver do it again within 5-7 days. I been waiting a week till today (1st Mar). My garden waste till there, I called again, and asked why the bin stil not empty. So this time the lady was said, their recollect day is 5-10 working day, because they don't work on weekend. I said your website is said 5-7 days too. Why now is talking different days. She said is wrong information the lady gave me from last week. I said I don't care their days, I just want the bin clean up within the next 2 days. Because you guys promise me last week. And she said I can't guarantee anything. I said that is very disappointed about your services, maybe I have to look for other company. And her reply said, is my choice and decision. I totally out of control. I raise my voice and said what can you do for me? And she said she can't do anything plus ask me don't raise my voice. What a Service!!!! Time to look for other company for sure, because is like she said, is my decision. If anyone look for garden waste company. I am totally not recommend."

    "Wow these guys are completely useless. They missed a collection completely and we were told that it was because the driver couldn't locate our bin, even though it was in plain sight in the driveway. They have overcharged us twice, there's no contact phone number so you have to email and then they don't reply to emails. I've called the bank to cancel the direct debit and we have cancelled our service. Nothing but issues! They should really just close up shop."

    "Terrible service. I have been using Greenfingers for over 12 months and I think they have only emptied my bin once on the day the said they would. Calling on the phone to find when they might arrive is a waste of time as you will just sit on hold forever. The website doesn't help either as it often states a day my bin will be picked up which has already past with no pick up. One time they claimed the bin was over full when it was only three quarters full of grass clippings. I would not recommend them at all."

    "Yes. I agree with all the others on this. I have used them for years and they used to be great but in the last six months they got suddenly bad. Twice I have had to email them to ask why they didn't pick up my bag. This last time I waited a week for a reply then they fobbed me off with a lie about my bag not being full. I replied to tell them otherwise, and am now waiting for a response to this. Meanwhile, its now been ten weeks since my bag was last collected and I need to do garden work! Customer service was never great, but now is downright appalling. I will be cancelling my account if I can find an alternative provider."

    "I have used Greenfingers Garden bags for a number of years and their service used to be excellent. For the last six months their service has deteriorated considerably. They email you when your collection is going to happen, but it never does. Two weeks later or more they appear. They never answer emails or telephone calls and are now very expensive. You can check you collection date on their website but that is never correct either. Each evening they move the date forward. Very unsatisfactory. I will not be using them any more."

    "Been using this service for a while (there's not all that much choice), and would give it a very average rating. Their pick-ups are often late and the bags are often ripped, so they leave a trail of rotting garden debris down the path when being removed. And the latest thing is they claim they couldn't access the full bag because a gate was locked...and it doesn't even have a lock! They are great with the excuses. And they are GREAT at demanding money up-front. "

    "They used to be great, but since the beginning of the year they miss collections and do not respond to emails and calls for weeks on end and if they respond it is some generic nonsense excuse that is not even relevant. I have been trying to resolve the issue for more than 3 months now with no success. Definitely will not recommend them to anyone. Stay away!"

    "I don't rate these guys at all. Don't use them. I am a new customer and our last 2 months have been a disaster. First month they picked up a week late and only because I made numerous phone calls. Initially said that the driver said our bin wasn't out on time (it was out early) and then they blamed a trainee driver. This month our bin got missed but our neighbours was emptied. Again I rang. Running late was the
    answer but they were definitely picking up. Two days later still waiting. This time their driver told them they picked it up last night and questioned me !!!! It was sitting in the same place, on the kerb and still full. Promised pick up today and guess what it's still there. DO NOT USE THESE GUYS. And by the way I want a refund of the money I have paid in advance

    "Used to be a very reliable service. Since late last year this has not been the case. They failed my collection for the last two months entirely, and initially when I complained they blamed me with various specious reasons why they hadn't collected my full bag, to the extent of blaming a non-existent dog! Eventually they reluctantly conceded that they were wrong, but still failed to collect my now TWO full bags until threatened with termination of the contract. My bag is now full again, and was due to be collected last week ... I'm still waiting, but not for much longer!"

    "Today i received a text from greenfingers gardenbags who i used briefly 4 years ago. The text asked me to pay my overdue account.
    I was confused because i had ordered and prepaid for 6 collections in 2007. How could i owe $10 And why 4 years later was i getting a text When i rang and said i didnt recall having any extra pickups and to contact me 4 years later and demand payment was unreasonable - they got their collector to call me - who threatend me with $327 of additional court and legal fees if i didnt pay up.. Im disgusted at the bully tactics. Its clear these people collections processes are out of control. Its embarrasing for them and ****ed me right off. He waived the 10 in the end - after considerable upset (its not nice being treated as a bad debtor). Im astounded this is their approach - when they could have cleared this up 4 years ago - They had my number after all. The actual service was awesome, but their back office obviously needs work

    "Trying to order additional bags during the holiday period. They had closed down for the Christmas break. No worries I understand this, but they tell me to call back on Monday 5 Jan 2009 during normal business hours. I do this from 8:30 am (normal hours according to the calandar I have from them) and have now tried about 6 times and it is now (:40 am and I am still getting the same voice message telling me to call back today during normal business hours. Someone needs to remove the voice message and answer calls. Otherwise service is great and I can't fault them"
