During the build, I noticed they had the wrong house plans in the front window of the house and layed the wrong drive way during construction also. It was incredibly difficult to get in touch with the Project manager to try rectify any issues, he was so relaxed nothing would phase him - he just blamed someone else. I would… call him, email him with no response. The paint job in the house was a mess and they needed to re touch several areas. Mike Greer have an after care sales program where they promise to fix any issues that are faulty or are not up to standard. My project manager assured me if I came across anything sub par in the house, these would be rectified with after care sales as per my contract. I found several things wrong after I moved in (also pointed out at handover/final walk through) - dent in garage door, rangehood making a constant flaping sound, heat pump pouring water when i used it, rust on driveway from the skip they used, side gates dropped and could not close. These are just some issues.
Mike greer refused to fix my garage door as they saw this as my problem (even though I told my project manager at handover), and as for the rangehood "oh some just do that". When I pushed further they sent out workmen who werent skilled or equipped to deal with the job and it was left unresolved. Eventually, the aftercare sales team stopped responding to me. I never would have purchased this house if I knew they were going to be so disorganised, unskilled and rude when trying to get them to fix something they didnt do properly in the first place. Every step of this process was difficult and they wiped their hands clean of any responsibilty."
