    "In short.
    Ritesh Mani is a fraudulent scam artist who was running Tribeca Homes Ltd whilst bankrupt, using Mark Wayne Richards as a frontman for a company that was effectively a Mani family business.
    In the 19 months we dealt with Tribeca Homes we were lied too, blackmailed, and left completely out of pocket!
    We had originally signed up I. June 2013 for a turnkey build offering 10% down, the rest upon completion and a 10 year Master Build Guarantee. 10 months later with only a concrete pad to show for it Ritesh came to us saying "if we did not change to progress payments our build would be considered a low priority and that it would not be completed anywhere in the near future".

    After changing to progress payments, paying substantially more for the land than originally agreed and seeing various building companies come and go, work stopped in August 2014.

    We were left with no choice but to take over managing the build ourselves.

    This proved to be extremely challenging as most of the contractors we contacted who had undertaken work on our property had not been paid by Tribeca Homes despite the fact we had paid for their services via progress payments to Tribeca Homes. Our money had very obviously not been used to pay the contractors as it was supposed to have been. We received false reassurance by Ritesh that all bills were paid up to date, this is absolutely not true as we are constantly coming up against non payment by Tribeca as another hurdle we have to jump.

    Ritesh had been taking the progress payments and using them to continue leading his extravagant lifestyle of luxurious appartments and frequent international holidays and mini breaks to the snow.

    To this date (21/2/15) our home is still not completed and we have spent a small fortune (or not so small if we add it all up!!) on remedial work, legal bills and cost overruns, not to mention having to find money to cover rent and mortgage payments when we should only be paying one or the other!

    This is not how we imagined our first home buying experience would pan out. We are a young couple, planning to get married and start a family and have had to put our lives on hold for almost 2 years as a result of this lying, cheating man and his partners in crime.

    It is our understanding that there are approximately 40 other people in a similar situation.

    Tribeca Homes built a home for us as an investment property; an attractive deal as they were to pay any interest payments until the house was completed and had received its Code of Compliance Certificate. This attractive deal has taken in excess of 2 years! We have spent approx. $5k on legal fee in the last 6 mths to get some closure to no avail. Tribeca ignore all correspondence.
    To date Tribeca have:
    • not provided a $5,200 rental top
    • not provided a master build guarantee

    • not reimbursed approx. 5 mths of interest payments

    • not completed all the agreed remediais, and requested a further $5k to do so!

    These are all promised in the contract we signed.

    Ritesh Mani is the front man of Tribeca Homes; he promises the world and delivers on nothing. Although a twice declared bankrupt (only just out of his latest bankruptcy in September 2014) he is however a very good sales man, take a look at his face book page.

    Tribeca Homes built a home for my family and a second home for my parents in Gulf Harbour. These were complete turn key land and build 4 bedroom homes with everything project managed through their company.
    We paid our deposits in Dec 2012, they advertised a 16 week build and a 10 year Master Builders Guarantee. They finally started something in May 2013 (5 months after deposits) and were very slack at communication and very hard to get hold of. Our homes were finally completed in Dec 2013 / Jan 2014 taking just over a year.

    We held monies back as there was a large list of remedials and they had not provided the Master Build Guarantee that they advertised. We have now found out that since our home is complete we cannot get a master build guarantee.

    It is now June and we still have a large list of remedials that we have been waiting over 6 months to have completed.

    Don\'t be fooled by their great deal it is just not worth it!
