    "There seems to be various agencies for Venluree now and this feedback is for the Northshore agency. Firstly, we had the same venetian blind in our original kitchen for 13 years and were able to clean it and look after it without it bending permanently or creasing. We got Ashley Gwilt in to do the measure and quote which came back in a timely manner but then spent weeks trying to get hold of either him or his wife Ruth by email or on the phone. In the end we called a Manager for Venluree and left a message and then, by magic, Ruth got back to us within hours. Shockingly poor communication was the first big black mark.

    We had requested the thickest gauge venetian which Ashley listed as .21mm and the blinds certainly looked great when installed. However, upon trying to clean them they dented easily and permanently where you held them between your thumb and finger and each time the cat walks past them they bend easily and I have to bend them back but they now also have a permanent crease in them. After two years these blinds are now looking tatty and will most definitely not do 13 years. The blinds Ashley installed had a gauge of .21mm but other companies now have a minimum of .25mm and the Venluree company at Kerwyn Ave, Highbrook will only provide a .21mm gauge venetian. Avoid like the plague if you value quality and longevity. If you still choose to use this company after all these negative reviews then make sure that you are getting a minimum gauge of .25mm if you want to have your blinds looking tidy for more than 2 years. It seems that some of the Venluree agencies are using .25mm but Venluree North Shore is not and nor is Kerwyn Ave offices.

    I am posting this feedback so that other people don't get burned the same and end up wasting thousands of dollars like we have.

    "What a horrible woman that Jo is. Rude, obnoxious and clearly terrible at her job. I will never use them again and I would advise other people not to use them, especially her. Awful service, awful woman."

    "Very poor service and blinds from this company.
    When these blinds were installed initially the verticals were all different lengths. After 2 goes at making them they finally were all the same. Since then the vertical headrail has broken on a number of occasions. The first time it broke I asked to have the headrail replaced. I was told no they would fix them. I explained I was due to put my house up for sale and would rather have a new header rail. They said no, so they fixed the header rail over a couple of weeks. Two months later the vertical header rail broke again. Dealing with Ashley, his wife Ruth who told me she is the director has not been an easy or good process. Ruth is rude and difficult to deal with, and Ashley has not communicated well or turned up today when he said he would. I spoke to the operations manager Tarsis the first time the vertical broke but this time he is has not returned my calls. Dealing with this company is difficult, communication is poor and I would not purchase anything from Venluree again.

    "Brilliant service from Venluree! Don't ever let a company take your blinds away to clean them. The first time I had my 25mm aluminium blinds cleaned I used another (slightly cheaper) company and they took them away. I've since found out that companies that do this will collect from a number of people and pile the blinds up in their van. If yours are at the bottom, the weight of all the others jiggling around can damage them. Sure enough, a number of my blinds came back damaged. This time I used Venluree and they cleaned my blinds onsite in their truck and did a PERFECT JOB. They also repaired the damage the last company did (a costly lesson learned for me). Michael and his colleague were polite and thorough. Shoes were removed before entering the house, and the job was completed beautifully. I will definitely use them again next time to clean my blinds."

    "I called the ven lu ree on this morning, your staff Matt came to my house and tried to install three roller blinds this morning, firstly these right two blinds 2 and 3 linked driven together, NOT roller blind 1 and 2, it was clearly described on your Job sheet what we wanted, the left roller blind 1 linked driven middle blind.

    2. Once he talked with your boss over phone, he swapped these plastic parts on the top of the rod, then the two blinds left 1 and 2 can be linked driven together, but unfortunately the left chain does not working properly, I have to tried harder and struggled to pull up the two blinds, it was ok for pulling down these two blinds. I think he did not put together these plastic parts on the top rod of blinds property, it is a reason why it is very very hard to pull up these two blinds 1 and 2.

    3. Also the two left roller blinds 1 and 2 were not at a level.

    "We had heard Venluree Blind Services' ad over the radio where its jingle is "if it doesn't say service, it's not!". We had previously used another blind cleaning company but thought we'd give these guys a try. Unfortunately we were disappointed at the service we received.

    We asked for the pickup service and the friendly guy picked them up at the time specified. However, somewhere during the time of pickup and return three of our blinds were damaged (two of the metal bottoms were badly dented, and several of the slats had come away from the string holding it together). Some of the blinds also came back wet so a number of the venetian slats were stuck together. We called and told them of the problem and they sent a person out to see what was wrong. They couldn't fix the problem as the blinds were "an older model" but said they wouldn't charge us for a replaced cord lock.

    We didn't hear from them for some weeks so thought that they would not issue an invoice due to the damage etc. To be sure, I emailed to ask whether an invoice would be sent. They said an invoice had been sent but we never received it. They emailed a copy of the invoice to me with a 15% discount on the invoice for the damage done ($27 discount - I would've thought we wouldn't have to pay the $18.50 per blind damaged). We were then called reminding us to pay the invoice (we had also received a reminder a few weeks back) - I queried why we were reminded the first time to pay an invoice that we never received - they said they had sent it and I asked them to confirm the address they sent it to - they had sent it to a totally different address (not related to me). I told them that it was not really acceptable for them to be reminding us to pay when they were initially at fault for not even sending the invoice to us.

    Anyway, the invoice has been paid but we will never use them again. Even though they made an attempt to fix the problem we don't think they did enough. And they made it worse by reminding us to pay an invoice that had only been issued to us 18 days earlier (and that is because I requested it).
