"The workers were slow and despite of paying for their service our family was handed boxes to put into the rooms ourselves. What's more shocking was the attitude of business owner. They didn't properly empty out the truck and took off with essential part for my son's furniture. When i made enquires andrew the business owner promised he would courier by the end of the week. Of course no contact. After waiting 2 weeks i made another contact and promise of shipment of the item with tracking number… by end of the week and again was disappointed. I still stayed patient and sent him the same item listed on trade on the tuesday if he can't make the courier happen i expect the price of item deposited by next monday afternoon again no contact. When i called on the following monday and i confronted him of how i didn't get any response everytime he was meant to make contact with me for tracking number and that this was unacceptable. This was response i received "do you wanna know what i had been doing past one month? Do think i have been sitting around at home? You are a moaning bitch complaining every 5 minutes. I dont care whatever" then he hung up the phone and he has been avoiding my phone calls. I have dealt with inconvenience of having unfinshed furniture for over a month yet i was poliet tried to be understanding but this is the mindset of the business owner "ignore then call names if they make enquires about missing items because i already got paid". I definitely don't recommend this business at all"

"Thank you Derek and your great guys for making our move very easy. They arrived on time and nothing was too much trouble for them. A long day for them having to leave Auckland early to be in Rotorua early and then heading all the way back up to Albany to unload in the afternoon and only finishing after 5.00 pm. Great service."

"We used Best Movers for our recent move from Karaka to Pukekohe, after reading some positive recommendations about them on this site. Derek responded promptly to my inquiry, and provided a detailed quote (the cheapest out of a few different moving companies that I contacted). He was very helpful with a number of queries, and happy to change the date of the move when requested. He was in touch the day before the move to make sure everything was still all go, the team turned up bright and… early on Monday morning and with 3 guys, a truck and a van, got all of our stuff moved from our old place to our new house in exactly 4 hours - just as was promised on the quote! They were very careful with our things, wonderfully friendly and cheerful, and got the job done. Can't ask for anything more! I've already recommended them to another family member who is planning to use them for their move soon. Thanks guys!"
