From start to finish this has been smooth as glass with excellent results. Yes; Nils are extremely affordable, but with these results I… know why. Had this carpet not cleaned I was looking at replacement to the tune of several thousand dollars!

They were both very courteous and respectful, took time to answer all questions, and went out of their way to ensure that we were completely satisfied.

They are also inflexible with the time of the day that they can do their service (and you'll know at what time it will be, only the day before the booking) which is a problem if you are a person who needs to plan… things in advance, or who like me, work for a living and like to know which part of the weekend will be impacted). For us it was unfortunate that it was a Saturday afternoon, where the estimated arrival time spanned over a 2 hour period and they pitched up at the end of the 2 hours (15h15). My previous attempts for them to come at a reasonable time was not successful - I was asked to book another day, implying that I should set aside a whole day, weeks in advance so that they can arrive at the time of their choosing, as the time of the day is still not known.

The guy who did the cleaning was pleasant and did a good job "washing" the carpet. If he wants to improve his service he can do a deep clean vacuum like most other carpet cleaners, to take out the deep set dust that can compromise the carpet when wet. At that point I just wanted to get it over with so didn't bother anymore.

In any case, our hard earned dollars and precious time need not be taken for granted.

If you look at their rankings on TradeMe it looks pretty good and I wonder if those ratings were done at time when the business cared about customer service - not anymore, unfortunately."

Yet we had misunderstandings already from when doing the booking and several attempts with rude comments from them.

They carpet cleaned our rental place with 3 bedroom, lounge and hallway in less than 30 minutes!! And the next day it looked like it never been cleaned. We could probably have done a better job with the Rug Doctor… ourselves.

They can't handle someone not satisfied with the job they done and if you call them to sort it out, they hang up the call, and then email you to advise they have reported it to the NZ Police as harrassment."
