"What a relief! Finally found a company with simple values, straight talking, good tradesmanship and competitively priced. We engaged DREAMDOORS to re-model our kitchen and got a full service, from design through to post installation inspection. The communication and coordination was first class and removed the ambiguity. The responsiveness to queries, was immediate and this builds confidence even before the job started. The execution was as I expected, careful, respectful of the house and surroundings and tidy. No problems with removal of waste, certainly no damage and secure being left alone in the house. The MAIN thing was the workmanship, we are absolutely delighted with the results - quality of materials, finishings and accuracy of the fitting. I have no hesitation in recommending DREAMDOORS."

"We are very pleased to endorse the service and products received from Ben and his team at Kitchen Facelifts Ltd T/A Dream Doors (East Auckland). As part of our kitchen makeover Dream Doors provided and fitted replacement kitchen doors. The end to end service from initial inquiry through to the installation has exceeded our expectations – a seamless stress free transition. Service provision was very professional; advice given to us was sound, meaningful and straightforward and most importantly easily understood. We were not overwhelmed with ‘meaningless technical speak’. Timelines were met and cost of the work was very competitive and affordable. I have no hesitation in recommending Ben and his team at Dream Doors to others interested in updating their kitchen."

"Used Dream Doors Manukau. Would recommend the quality of their product and finished look is great. Just be wary of timelines as they didn't make any of theirs. Their communication also needs to improve. Overall I am very happy, just wish it had been a more "on time and no errors" experience."

"I am writing to report a most pleasurable experience, that of Jay assembling our kitchen and bathroom cupboards and drawers. Brett did say that we would find both rooms would be uplifted by your fine products, for that is just what has happened.
Jay as of course you will well know has sublime skills matched by his enthusiasm and good humour and it was our good fortune to meet him and watch him at work. Thank goodness someone recommended we talk to the facelifters!

"We enlisted Brett Campbell and his team at Dream Doors in Penrose, Auckland to face-lift our kitchen cupboard doors. From beginning to end we were extremely happy with the service we received. Quoting and measuring up were both completed in a timely and efficient manner, and the installation was completed in line with the time-frame we were given.
And the result - outstanding! Our installer, Conway, was a real perfectionist and true craftsman, and we are absolutely delighted with the outcome. Would thoroughly recommend Brett and his team to anyone wanting to face-lift their kitchen.

"We had a fast, professional, reliable service from start to finish with Dream Doors. They were up front on how the payment system worked. I love my New Look kitchen. Could tell that Simon was not just an installer, but also a builder by trade. He fixed everything with ease and nothing was a problem. Would definitely recommend him."

"We engaged Dream Doors to supply and install our complete kitchen, total remodel.
They were so helpful, suggested new products and supplied at an affordable cost.
The finished result was fantastic, a few months on the stone bench top a ROXX product started showing cracks, we called the ROXX representative and the bench installer, both said it was a faulty product. We contacted ROXX who immediately denied the product was faulty and would not honour the 10 year warranty supplied with the product. As a last resort we contacted Derek Lilly of Dream Doors, they were so helpful even when they also met with a NO from ROXX. To cut a very long story short Dream Doors paid for and supplied a complete new stone bench of a superior product and it was recently installed by the original installer Mike who also gave his time for free. We cannot recommend Dream Doors more highly, they not only supplied a great product they continued the service even when their job was done.

"Do not use these guys. OMG! What a nightmare.3 hours to measure 8 hours to install 4 cupboards and you can't open the drawers because it was measured wrong. Kept leaving because bits were left at another job or he forgot them. Half hour in left to go on smoko. Totally creepy installer told me that when you talk to women it can be taken as sexual harassment and then you end up with charges against you!!! Then wants to be in my house by himself. Hell no! Most unprofessional unconcerned about the customer trade I have ever used. Really don't go there EVER!!!"

Brett was very helpful with design and communicated well throughout the whole sale and install process. We are so stoked with the kitchen that we wanted to give the positive feedback. I would happily refer friends and family to Brett.

"We used Dream Doors in West Auckland, owned by Brett Campbell. When he came around to quote late in 2015, he was literally 'Mr Smooth', gushing from start to finish . And no wonder! Campbell was previously selling cars for a living. We had to pay 60% up front or more than $8000. That made us a little nervous especially with some of the bad press about this company. Campbell promised to get his workers onto the job on mid January. Mid January 2016 came & went. Then we got a call from George, his production manager. He told us it would be Feb sometime for the first part of the job not including installation of our new Roxx benchtop. Next thing we know it's now March. Still nothing. Campbell never contacted us once to apologise, reassure or at least check in. He was too busy boasting about how much profit he was making selling kitchen refabs in the Winter 2016 issue of NZ Franchise magazine. We finally had the kitchen installed in mid March, a month late. The installer was called Conway. I came home early one afternoon to find him on our newly painted and renovated deck sawing up timber with a skillsaw, making a huge big dusty mess. Cobway did not ask permission to use our new deck as a builder's yard. The sawdust was everywhere and worse still, it had bonded with the new deck paint! My husband and I were furious! We contacted George who asked Conway not to do it again or if he did, to place down a large drop sheet. Two days later I found him doing it again. His excuse? "I forgot". Totally unprofessional. But it gets worse. The installation date for the benchtop was shifted 3 times! The reason given at first was that the benchtop maker - Lyle - was "not happy with the quality of the stone". Then another date was given and then reneged on. Then yet another. Finally I phoned George - as we didn't want to deal with Campbell - and he admitted that the benchtop installer had gone into liquidation. We believe they knew about the installer's money woes earlier than they let on. By this time we thought we'd never see our benchtop. But did Campbell phone to reassure us? Never once. My husband was very distressed and spoke to George who reassured us that 'we' meaning Dream Doors would take care of the 'entire benchtop installation' including plumbing. This was, we thought to make up for all the delays and stuff ups on the way. Once the bench was in we noticed various scratches around the kitchen. Next thing we know we are being phoned by the plumbing company demanding $580 for the benchtop installation. We replied that Dream Doors had told us they were paying. The plumbing company said Campbell had refused. The plumber came back as the insinkerator was leaking. We had a discussion with him about Dream Doors and he agreed that if he had been in our she's he too would have thought Dream Doors were paying for plumbing. He said he was meeting up with Campbell later that day and would try to talk some sense into him. But Campbell was not backing down, despite what his employee had told us. George has left Dream Doors presumably because of working difficulties. The latest is that Campbell has emailed a threatening letter via his solicitor demanding full payment of the final 10% and plumbing has not been dexucted. He did deduct just over $400 for the damage to the deck even though no one from the company ever came back and inspected the damage. Campbell made out he did us some kind of favour with deducting this money. But not so. His employee damaged the deck and they offered no repair, restoration or replacement as per the Consumer Guarantees Act. Doing nothing was the soft option. So now it seems like we're headed for the Disputes Tribunal over $580. We've offered to pay the final invoice once the plumbing is deducted. But Campbell wants to stick to his principles - whatever the hell they are - and too bad about the customer. So if you're thinking of having your kitchen updated and you use Dream Doors, don't necessarily expect it will be any kind of 'Dream'. It could well be a bloody nightmare! Overall a very negative experience for us."

"I would recommend Dream Doors to give your kitchen a face lift. They were easy and friendly to deal with and Josh went the extra mile to get some of the problems sorted out with our existing cabinets and benchtop. The difference to our kitchen is amazing and far exceeds our expectations and for the fraction of the price of a full refit. Good workmanship and the job done to even my fussy standards. "

"My wife and I wanted to modernise our existing kitchen without breaking the bank, but we wanted a good quality job. Kevin from Dream Doors came and explained how we could do this. He provided honest advise on design, colour, handle type etc. I found he was transparent with costing and gave excellent insight into the various quality of doors and surface transformation options available in the market so we made an informed decision. There was a slight delay in the completion of the job, but that was the only small glitch in what has turned out to be a high quality finish at a reasonable price. Easy guy to like and trust."

"Dream Doors in Lower Hutt did a reface for my kitchen, and they were fantastic. Work was initiated promptly, the team did a fabulous job--nice guys, hard workers, and happy to go the extra mile--and the overall result is most pleasing. Refacing an old kitchen structure means dealing with cupboards and walls that may not be quite square, odd nooks and crannies, and various small but not-straight-forward issues. All handled professionally, competently, and with a smile. The quote was spot on, and I think good value. John and Hazel and their team are to be commended. Good folks. Recommended."

"Need to emphasise this is a nation wide organisation my dealing was with Auckland and Christchurch. I had doors and drawer fronts made. They came and measured three times and still got it wrong. When we complained about the gaps in the doors we were told to have the 10 percent balance as a disount which we accepted as he would have had to make new doors. ( had done this already for some). When we had a problem with some of the doors a bit later the local guy never answers his phone. We called their head office told us they were not interested in dealing with us their auckland Rep had told them we had not paid our bill in full. Theri ten year warrentee is not worth the paper it is written on"
